Academic Trainers' Payment Policy
First-Time Appointment: If this is your first appointment with Academic Trainers, we require an advanced payment or a credit card on file to book an appointment. We understand it is important for the student to make sure Academic Trainers is a good fit for him/her before committing to a package, therefore; after the first appointment, we will allow 48 hours to decide upon a package and will put the first hour towards that package. If we do not hear from you within 48 hours following the first appointment, we will assume you do not want to purchase a package and will bill the first hour at the regular one-on-one tutoring rate of $90/hour.
Package Selection: The client is responsible for keeping track of his/her own package hours. We will try our best to let you know when your package is near expiration or has expired to give you the option of purchasing another package. We will also inform you in the unlikely situation you have used additional hours (over an allotted package) to see if you would like to put these hours towards a new package. If we do not receive a reply via phone or email, we will assume you do not want to purchase another package and will bill the additional used hours at the regular one-on-one tutoring rate of $90/hour.
Cancellation Policy: We have a 24 hour cancellation policy. If you contact us by phone or email by 8pm the night before the session, there will be no charge (during the school year, Sunday appointments must be cancelled by 8pm Thursday night as we are closed Fridays and Saturdays). Same day cancellations are non-refundable.
