SAT & PSAT Test Preparation

Our test prep tutoring and classes prepare students for college entrance exams. Preparation includes comprehensive coverage of the material and structure of the tests, strategies and tips for each section, timing tactics, elimination tricks and many other tools to help students tackle and excel on their exam.

All test packages include unlimited access to online materials including 2000 practice questions, 10 College Board SAT practice exams, and 2 course books.

Students are welcome to come in for a few "cram sessions" or prepare well in advance. Our Test Prep trainers have extensive experience and impressive results tutoring students for standardized tests and entrance exams. Academic Trainers enters its 11th year preparing students to be testing stars!

ABOUT THE EXAM

SAT: The SAT is a standardized test for college admissions used to measure critical thinking, mathematical reasoning, and writing skills necessary for success in college. The test is broken up into nine sections consisting of 3 critical reading sections, 3 mathematics sections, and 3 writing sections including a 25-minute essay. This test takes 3 hours and 45 minutes to complete, with breaks given to the students throughout the duration of the test. 

ACT: The ACT is a standardized test for college admissions used to test the students on four different subject areas: English, math, reading, and science. It consists of 215 multiple choice questions and an optional writing test. The test takes 3 hours and 30 minutes to complete with a short break included within the time.
